Here's a couple of quick shots of my new PRS Gary Grainger 5. Sorry about the quality of the pics. It is a nice bass! Plays great with a powerful preamp, but very musical!

Sweet!
I have set to ever see a GG with my own 2 eyes.
I have recently discovered this shop, within a couple miles of one contract I work. I’ll stop by next month.

PRS Basses

The Fretless ones are sic !

With everything seen on their site, they might have my credit checked before I even set foot inside…

What really scares me is that after 42 years of fighting, I'm finally at the stage where the banks take a look at me and say "sure, let him hang himself". :D They're no help at all against the GAS any more!

I can tell you, it is a very nice instrument! Well crafted and solid. And it sounds great! A wide array for tones at your fingertips.

True words! I try to pay in cash to avoid all that, but ....no help at all.

So you get it new or used?

I'm almost scared to ask what you paid for it.

You don't see these in the wild very often. And the quality PRS puts out with their guitars, I suspect goes along with their basses too.

I'm fine playing Fender basses, MIMs, MIA, CIJ, MIJ, doesn't matter. But if there was ever a brand I dream of owning...

PRS is it.

Brand new. The reason I decided to grab one is because they are pretty rare in the wild and I've heard they have ceased production for the time being. I hope not forever because this is a great bass! So, I started to look and found this beauty and a few other purple ones online. I was able to negotiate a reasonable price and pulled the trigger. Still pretty expensive, but I'm very pleased with the quality of the craftsmanship and sound and the bass plays great!

I didn't know they had stopped production. But that doesn't surprise me. PRS does thst with bass guitars, a lot. Their main thing is guitars. But Sweetwater has some in stock.

There's just something about PRS that just screams quality.

Congrats, I'm jealous. It's a beaut and I'm sure it plays as good as it looks.
