Will try when i get the hang of it.

Its huge compared to my mustang! So i am going to try a different strap. Even though it is 30.5 inch scale the body puts the neck way out away from me. Wich has been a challange on top of the fact i have never really messed with a frettless.

Ok so i need some help! If it wasent hard enough to try frettless! How does a guy with short arms play a thing like this? The body puts the neck way out away from me. I tried to tie off to the head stock to bring it closer to me. It helped some but it tilted the bass out and i could not see the lines!

Very frustrated right now! Love the way it looks! Digging the sound! But unless i am sitting on the couch with the body on the coushen it cant play the thing :( I know it is probly worse for me being so use to my Mustang. But does anyone else have this problem?

From what you've mentioned, it's gonna be an uphill climb to get used to your new baby...

Here's a simple tip: try a suede-backed strap. This will help keep the bass in place, while you work on the newer position. You want the bass to tilt up more, sorta like 45 degrees, so that you can get a beter wrist position with your left hand.

Be patient; you've made two big shifts - going fretless, and hollowbody - where the strap button is at the heel.
