Oh come on don't leave everyone hanging! How's the neck? The tone? The hardware? General fit and finish? MORE DETAILS MATE WE WANT THEM ALL!
The neck is very thick, I would say it's baseball bat-like. Maybe not
that thick. It is very comfortable so far though. The body is huge and that will take some getting use to.
Tone wise I like it. It definitely has more a$$ than my go-to basses (I've been an SB-1 guy for... lets say eons). I'll hold off on final judgement until I take it in to battle (I have two rehearsals this coming week and shows next weekend) but I think it will fit in.
Hardware is standard Warwick fare. The bridge is very fiddly with lots of adjustments everywhere, but after setting up the action and string spacing the way I like it, I appreciate the range of adjustment.
Fit and finish seem good. It's a MIK bass so I wasn't expecting Warwick Germany quality. The bridge appears to be slightly offset from the tailpiece, so when the d string is centered on the neck, the sight line from the tail piece to the bridge isn't exactly straight. It's very minor. "So what" I say, but others may have a problem with it. There is also a slight blemish in the sunburst finish right near the join between fingerboard and the top of the bass. Again, very minor.
Speaking of finish, this bass has the typical Korean "dipped in candy" gloss finish which I hate, but most people find shiny instruments to their liking, so I'm the odd man out.
It's a set neck design and it appears solid.
Electronics are all there. The tone controls don't suit me, so some rewiring with different cap values will probably be in my future. I love the way my SB-1's react to their tone controls, and that's what I'm accustomed to, so I may put a similar tone circuit in this bass.
