True, but OSU could get a second loss if they play.

What's the tiebreaker in the Big Ten, head to head?

Edit: Yes. So Badgers are in no matter what.

Looks like Penn State is taking care of business. Bucky is in a good ol' knock down drag out with Minnesota from the looks of things. The Big 10 could get pretty sloppy pretty fast. [EDIT - never mind. Bucky did just fine.]

I didn't expect Washington State to let the Huskies run them over like they did. It wasn't boring to me, because I'm a partisan, but I can see how it would have been a lousy game for just about anybody else. Washington played well and Washington State played poorly. I don't think that game represents what the Cougars are capable of.

Hmmm...so if Penn State beats Wisconsin to become the Big-10 champs, and with beating a very good OSU team, that'll be a bummer to see them left out of the playoffs.
It's clear to me the Big-10 is playing the best football this season. I'd like to say the SEC, but they just aren't bringing it this season.
The USC resurgence helped the Pac-12 along with a great Husky season. I was having flashbacks to that '91 Husky team at times this season. Bummer deal former coach Don James isn't around to see it.

It would mean the Pac-12 champion gets left out, most likely. I can't see Clemson getting dripped from 4 without a loss, no matter how uninspiring their schedule might be. If South Carolina rises up and bites them, it would make things more straight forward to have two teams from the same league.

I say no to both Ohio State and Michigan, but I don't get a vote. I really hope that the winner of the Big 10 Championship game gets in as the only Big 10 team. I don't believe that you should get a chance if you don't win your conference.

If Western Michigan wins the MAC and is the only other undefeated team besides Alabama, should they get in?

Conference champions mean nothing. I think the committee will choose the best 4 teams and I think at least 2 of them are in the B1G, the Us, OS and PS.

Of course they don't for OSU fans. Your Michigan buddies are saying the same thing.

I haven't seen a single Western Michigan game, so I'm not sure how deserving they are of a spot in the playoffs. The committee doesn't seem to think so.

Power 5 vs. Group of 5, apples and oranges. And two losses is a critical factor. I'm not opposed to non-conference champs getting in, but not with 2 losses.
