HOLY CRAP!
I got the Multiamp last night and tried it out with my 4X10 Goliath - so far it's AWESOME! It's louder than I was expecting - very ballsy, and the effects are excellent-very, very good. It's gonna take a while to explore. Are you using the Mark Bass foot controller? I plan on getting one soon - I usually switch between 2 - 3 effects per song with my old rig
I probably should get the Markbass footpedal, but you have to provide a lot of information to order it on the markbass.it website. I was going to wait for it to be available in the US. Place of birth, date of birth, gender, etc. I'm just not comfortable giving out a lot of information since I started working in security.
Just got the 1215 - it's amazing, maybe perfect... and an excellent match for the Multibass. Really LOUD, really clean and the low end is staggering. I thought I heard some distortion but it was just all of the windows in my house vibrating! I kept on getting told to turn down when we jammed yesterday
Should get the foot pedal today - a pain in the ass to order but I think it's good to have.
Have you used the editing software? My computer can't "see" the Multiamp...
Glad it worked out for you!! I always hate throwing out recommendations when there is a significant amount of money on the line, but I'm pretty sure this is a safe bet. Let me know how the pedal works out. I may have to get one after all.
Excellent thread! Thanks for all of the good info. I have the 112 version and after playing it for 6 months, the honeymoon hasn't ended. I just sold my GS-412 so I'm going to take a hard look at the 1215.
