NCD: greenboy fEARless F212

I like what you did with the handles makes perfect sense. I think every cabinet maker should put their handles on the top like you did. I have an Eden Nemisis RS212 Cab that has two handles on the top. Easy cab to lift and transport. Congrats on a great cab.

I think a lot of manufacturers fail at handle placement. They take a good sounding cab, and make it an award beast to move.

I think this is one place where custom shops add huge value. You can customize the ergonomics to your needs, which may be different from the next buyer.

Speaking of ergonomics: how are those corner handles?
You rubbing knuckles as your fist twists through it?

When god plays bass, this is the rig he GASses over.

Hey CL - how does the new cab sound with the Carvin BX 1500?

The reason I ask- I have a 12/6/1 Cube and have been considering the Carvin... Any complaints?

I have never tried it with the BX1500. I have a B1500 which is closer to the B2000 tonally. It is a fantastic amp. I know @RNV uses a Bx1500 with his 1515/66 so his input would be helpful.

Can't speak for the almighty; but, if I had that kind of capability, I would go with the SVT. I could use miracles to move it.:D

This amp weighs even more, and has an extra 100 watts of tube headroom on the SVT.

Looks great! I like how it's set up like most 2x10s are, running it vertical probably has great dispersion. Congrats man! :bassist:

The mid Driver helps a lot with that too.

Ok...stupid question, what's the difference between the Fearful and the Fearless cabs??

Tuning is different, low end is tighter on the fEARless. Mid drivers are different, and the fEARless has a switch which changes the voicing.

I was mostly joking about the cab.

;)

Congrats Bro....hopefully there's one in my future.
LOVE your whale pool blue AB1...vera vara nice !!!!

It is the best bass I have ever played.

Hey CL what wood Okume?

Nope aruco. Could have shaved a few pounds with lighter wood, but I figured with all the hardware I was adding, the cost didn't equate to the weight gain. And what is a few pounds compared to a 100 pound tube amp?

Looking good! After asking for recommendations, and researching the Greenboy gear, I am quite convinced this is what I need as well.

The F212 is a killer cab. It will do so much, and is small and light.

I think the F212 and Dually T are the best of Greenboy's lineup. Outstanding, especially with that AB1.

I agree. While the F215 or '66 will get louder, the F212 and DuallyT is honestly more than enough for most. They are so good that I needed both.
