Thats a sexy looking cab ya got there! Glad it made it to a good home, and Im amused that it made it to a fellow TB'er. Cant wait to hear how you like it.

Also, how do you plan on moving that thing around for gigs?

Sorry guys I was out of town this weekend. Thanks for all the comments. Yeah my back will hate me later down the road, however it was a good pickup. I have a pickup so transport is not an issue there. Honestly most of venues I regularly play at I DI right in so I I really don't even need to take a cab most times, so it will remain in the practice room in those cases, but when I need it it will be there and have "plenty under the hood." The amp I am using right now is a Peavey Tour 450 and my previous cab was a Mesa PH610, it was a awesome cab however had to sell that cab a while back because I needed the money more at the time.
So I have received the cab last week, however I just moved to my new house and do not have Internet service (or HD cable TV either for that matter boo!) yet so I ironically I had to wait until now while I am at work to give a little follow up. The cab is heavy as expected, however I knew it would be. The tilt back wheels work great but yes not as well on carpeted areas. Although built like a tank, the cab is not as bulky or too hard to move around as I would of thought and is actually smaller width wise on the sides than the Mesa I owned before.
It can move a lot of air and really put out the big sound which can get very loud with my amp and the tone is good from what I am have dialed in so far. I will be trying out dialing in new settings with my EQ and tonal options just to see all around what I can get. Overall I am pretty happy with the score and it is in very great shape physically and cosmetically as well. Got it for a great price as well.
I have said it before Peavey, although often labeled as budget or common man's low end gear, is some of the best gear! I have become a Peavey fan thick and thin now, great job Peavey!

Im glad you are digging the cab! If I hadnt moved up to a bigger animal I would have kept it. When I was setting up my EQ with it, for my sound, I started with everything flat and spent a lot of time cutting frequencies. There were a few that got boosted a bit in the mids, but I got better results cutting stuff out on my Classic 400 or my Mark VIII. I would assume your head is closer to the Mark VIII tone wise. I left the tweeter all the way down became friendly with my GEQ.
Thanks for the suggestions, I am still experimenting with it all. Got to play with it about a half hour over the weekend just to try it out at first impression and I was impressed. I am still moving stuff into my new house so once I am settled in I will have a little more time to play with it. Thanks for the suggestions and I hear you, it's a great cab, this should be enough for whatever I may need for right now.
Most Peavey gear that I've ever owned or used, has been very solid. The last Peavey that I encountered that really blew Me away was a "Windsor" 100 watt tube amp that a guitar playing friend of mine bought. It was no slouch by any means, sounded very good, and would get stupid loud. The price He paid for it seemed a bit comical at first, as I couldn't believe that they were going for that cheap.
I agree. I have had my Peavey Tour 450 amp for over four years now, bought it used even back then and I have had absolutely no trouble with it at all. Like I said it may be called budget gear however it will withstand almost anything and work fine afterwards.
