NDD! (New dog day)

D'ahh. Here's my rescue. She's a standard poodle, although she wasn't on death row like yours. This photo was taken from when she was a pup.

She's a cutie. Looks pretty big as a pu...how big is she now? I know some of the standard poodles get pretty darn big. Don't see many of them compared to the ankle-bitter sizes.
 
You know, it never ceases to amaze me, the quality of so many dogs who have been abandoned or given up. Otto is our latest rescue. He and his brother were abandoned in an industrial park at 3 mos old (or maybe younger). He's healthy, extremely smart, a fast learner, well mannered, beautiful, and almost certainly a purebred Anatolian Shepherd (pretty rare breed).
Someone abandoned them. W T F?

Since we can only approximate his birthday, and it seems likely he was born around March, we've given him a St. Patrick's Day birthday. He's one year old!
