D'ahh. Here's my rescue. She's a standard poodle, although she wasn't on death row like yours. This photo was taken from when she was a pup.

She's a cutie. Looks pretty big as a pu...how big is she now? I know some of the standard poodles get pretty darn big. Don't see many of them compared to the ankle-bitter sizes.

Thanks guys, he is really doing great. It was so nice to come home to two excited pups today. It just breaks my heart that someone gave him up. He is a perfect gentleman and smart to boot.

You know, it never ceases to amaze me, the quality of so many dogs who have been abandoned or given up. Otto is our latest rescue. He and his brother were abandoned in an industrial park at 3 mos old (or maybe younger). He's healthy, extremely smart, a fast learner, well mannered, beautiful, and almost certainly a purebred Anatolian Shepherd (pretty rare breed).
Someone abandoned them. W T F?

Otto recently, playing with our Pomeranian, also a rescue:

Since we can only approximate his birthday, and it seems likely he was born around March, we've given him a St. Patrick's Day birthday. He's one year old!

She considerably bigger now. Although she's more of a tall skinny dog, especially when you shave her hair, so she only weights 65 pounds
