If you don't mind moving the strap button on the back of the neck, about 3-4 inches from the heel, that should balance it out too.
Damn B.C. and their crazy ass designs... If you leave the bridge end stud as you drew it, but reverse the neck end stud so it's on the underside of the horn, you could then route the strap around the end of the horn, thus buying yourself another inch or two of balance point without weakening the horn.

Am I the only one that likes the Truck Nuts solution?
As far as the COG (center of gravity) is right around fret 15 or so. Holding at the front peg alone, the neck is still diving :-(
