Neck Help

ok guys. so ive been thinking about this for a while and i want some help with what id be dealing with. i have a Squier MB-4, and i want to put a better neck on it. it bows easily when put under the tension required to put it in tune. even with adjusting the truss rod, it still bothers me. so, i want to put a new neck on it. the only problem is that its a 22 fret neck. also, the neck pocket is only about 3" long. its still 2 1/2" wide, and 5/8" deep. the neck pocket for a jazz or p is about 4". so, i want to put a new neck that will fit and that i wont have to redrill holes for. if i were to put a standard p-neck on it, then i would have to redrill, plus b/c of the difference of pockets, it would bring the scale of the bass down by about one inch. so does anyone know of a neck that would fit and where i could find it?

Cheers, Mulvey:bassist:
