Double Bass Neck moved quite a bit after setup, is this expected on certain basses?

I just got a setup on my somewhat new year old 2020 Rickenbacker 4003s. This is the second setup I have got done on it and the bass was purchased new. I got this second setup done with very low action but after two days of playing it the action has raised a fair amount, more then I was expecting. Is this fast changing action common on Rickenbacker basses? The fender bass I use almost never seems to have any action change at all in a year. I did play the rick very hard when I got it back so maybe that contributed to the quick change in action. It has also been in stable temperature. Anyone else have this issue with ricks?
