Just like that. Its a jazz bass V V T controls and the bridge pickup works fine. I opened it up and there is nothing loose or appearing like it 'might' be loose. I pulled the Pickup and that looks fine as well. I pulled lightly on everything. I have a multi-meter but I don't know what to look for. I sprayed some detox in each pot.
When I tap on the magnet of the 'dead' pick up I get a sound through the amp. A typical click but much less audible compared to the bridge pickup and only when the tone pot is opened all the way up. It cannot be heard when the tone pot gets turned down rolling off the highs.
What can I do before I bring it to a warranty center.
