Neck pickup in a P bass.

Me and a bunch of friends, decided to make a metal project playing some obscure doom metal.
So I want to make my bass make a more 70's vintage sound.
I'm kind of broken these days so I'm looking for not very expensive sollutions.
I want to add a neck pickup and I'm thinking for something like the humbucker neck pickups that Gibson SG basses has. Or something like that.
If anyone can help me, all your suggestions are wellcome.

I'd suggest a Darkstar, but not if you're broke.

A gibson style humbucker would do the trick.

Well I've chekced some Dimarzio pickups.
Pretty good, and fair prises.

Very cheap, it's not humbucker and I don't thing it's good quality.

Consider also a Lace Alumitone; you don't need to dig as deep into the body (weakening it) to install one as you might with a normal pickup.
