Hi, I had a dream that I was playing my bass, and the neck turned into jelly, and started to bow like crazy. This got me curious about how to properly store my bass long term so there are no issues with it. I play a cort a4 with a 5 piece maple wenge neck-through design. It gets wonderful sustain because of the neck-through, and is incredibly versatile. I gig quite a lot, so I use an aero reunion blues back pack style case. It's got reinforced shock absorbers and is pretty tough from what I can tell so far.
Basically I'm curious about using a humidifier. I also play acoustic guitar and ukulele and use one for those. Never heard of one being used with a bass before though. Anyone have any advice?
Here's links to my gear in case anyone is interested.
