Need a fuzz pedal

+1 Fuzz isn't my thing but the Swollen Pickle was the best I have used. I'm pretty sold on Way Huge, I couldn't live with out my green rhino.

Sublime is physically huge, smooth sounding with a wide tonal range.

The TAFM is a sizzling, tweak-able, monster with huge amount of gain on tap.

Thank you very much for the comparison grygrx! That's the kind of input I was looking for, I definitely appreciate it! I mentioned it in one of my other sublime posts I think, but should have mentioned it in my original inquiry, that the size of the sublime is fine by me. I'll make do with the size if it sounds up my alley.

I've really come to love Chunk's Brown Dog gated fuzz. It can nail a muff fuzz but can also get completely synthy. The gate can be used to just clean up the 'heat' from the fuzz, or maxed out, it makes an almost old school video game synth sound.
Mostly, the pedal just sits well in the band (with two guitars). The fuzz is unique enough to have it's own spot amongst guitar distortion.

I've been really curious about the Tech21 Red Ripper, though. Sounds like it's a fairly "hairy" fuzz? Is it very usable in a full band setting or does it get lost? (aimed at those who have the pedal, of course)

FYI The Elements in not an true fuzz pedal. It's a disto/OD pedal. It sure can get fuzzy, but not the same kind of fuzz as let's say a Swollen Pickle or TAFM. That said, The Elements sounds great stacked with a TAFM. Damn it I miss my Elements...

The demos I checked out online sounded fuzzylicious, so I threw it into the thread. I'll retract that and suggest instead...
