Need admin help please

Hello. I was trying to log into desktop and it says my IP address is now locked out , I'm new here hope I'm in the right place ? bmrman, ( I changed password and tried using pass manager , to no avail )

Were you ever able to log in to TalkBass from your desktop?
If yes, when did the message about being locked out start?
If no, what device are you using to post on TalkBass from?

Still can't log in on desktop , mobile is fine , was able to at 1st ? Tried reset yesterday works on phone not PC , Dell , with windows 9 this is strange I'm on mobile now logged in ?

Using my android mobile to post with here , all is great on phone , just desktop , all other forums , no problems , just talkbass. Com

If the problem is limited to a specific combination of one device and one forum, it's usually a thing that can be fixed by clearing cookies and browser caches. (Other working combinations usually prove the other systems are ok.)

First, do you have a different browser on the same machine that stopped getting access to the forum? If you do, and that works, then cookies and cache clearance should be tried next.

I'm assuming you have rebooted the desktop machine.. This can be important because some networking system files and data can be affected in subtle ways by erratic browser behaviour. I always reboot at the first sign of such trouble, it often fixes things. (I do automate cookie and cache clearance too though, at reboot. Helps prevent unwanted behaviour of any kind, doing that).

Hello thank you I just entered in reset password , and this time I got in ., Doing nothing different , strange, I will go thru and clear cache , and reboot also , thank you !
