six your fast, didnt give me enough time to post some details

I want to upgrade from my encore to a much better bass ive put in a couple of fretless since they fit my budget and they may improve my skill. Im more inclined to the dean since I've tried it out and it suits my needs ;)
BTW i can get a "proper" fender since its ouside my budget of £300

I would go for the p bass, thats if you're looking for something stock, and in my opinion boring.

If you want something different then the Dean, great if you're looking to play heavier music.

I would recommend the Dean but if you want something with a universal sound then go for the Squire

Used Fender Jazz, if you don't have a problem with buying used gear.

From that list, I'd take the Cirrus BXP hands down. For the money, it's an excellent bass, and in my opinion outplays everything else in the poll.

+ 1 for the Cirrus BXP
Playability and sound wise IMHO it will hammer the rest.I do and have owned Fenders,G&L,USA Peavey Cirrus and Millenium,Rickenbacker,Warwick etc and none of them have a neck and action like my BXP has.You just need to decide if the sound and the 18V EQ are to your own personal tastes.Try to get your hands on them all and compare...everyones got different tastes:)
