Need help IDing a 70s/80s Ampeg 8x10

I was just wondering if anyone here could ID or date this cab at all, as well as tell if everything is all original. It isnt mine but Im thinking of picking it up, and neither I nor the owner know very much about it. Appreciate the help!

That's an 80s cab if I'm not mistaken. If the grill cloth is original it's not 70s. I have a late 70s ampeg cab which still has the silver grill cloth but the logo is the plastic style like you can see on this cab. The weave pattern on the black grill cloth looks to me like the 80s MTI-era SVT front grills I've seen, so I'd say it's probably an 80's cab. You'd have to get speaker codes to be sure.

What's he want for it? Looks like there's been one speaker that's either been reconed or replaced. Not a deal breaker, but it might be good for some buying leverage.

Note that one speaker has been replaced with current stock, not vintage. Are there internal baffles? This is probably the #1 rental bass cabinet for touring bands. What are they asking?

Is your Mesa cab equally dilapidated? If so, I'd do it. If not, no way I'd do it without him throwing you a few bones.

no its not, its in really good shape...

There will be more cabs. I wouldn't pay more than $100 for that, to be quite honest. It's a buyer's market for 810's. Cabs in good shape from back then go for $350-400. Even the straightbacks don't get anywhere near what they should.
