Need help on changing pickups/electronics

I have a Peavey Fury IV and the electronics are starting to give out. I love the bass, would hate to put it in the closest. Can anyone suggest what type of pups and pots to put back in it, and would anyone have an idea on how to wire it? I think I want to go back with passive pups, just not a big active fan.
