Need help on live sound settings - no sound!

So my best friend is going to have wedding party, and I am going to play some guitar. I have no idea about the detail of the stage PA system. Here is some facts we have tried:

1, A laptop use a headphone output --> TRS socket on the wall, which to the PA, and it works fine.

2, My acoustic guitar --> Fishman Aura Pedal --> the same TRS socket, no sound coming out (or the volume is extremely low).

The pedal have a 3.5K Ohm output impedance. This confused me, because I can understand a 10M Ohm output impedance, for example my guitar, can cause some problem, but the pedal? :rollno:

By the way I tried Guitar--> pedal --> 30X and it worked well, which means the cable/connection was good.

3, So I run this: Guitar --> Roland Cube 30X headphone output --> TRS socket

It works!

But it looks a bit silly: I don't used the speaker of the 30X at all, but why should I carry a heavy box!?

So, need some help if you could share your experience: what is an optimized solution to make some sounds from the PA (my 30X is not powerful enough to handle this venue), at the same time make everything simple?

I am wondering if I should use a DI. box, but this can be an backup solution, because I don't want to spend extra money on it...

Any comment would be appreciated! Thanks!
