Why need help quick? Play both basses in the flesh. I'm not going to help you waste money on a 2 second decision. Try them both, see which you like more.

+1.

This is a rather random poll. The two basses are entirely different, and there are no parameters as to what kind of features or tonality the OP prefers. This indeed looks like the OP wants someone to choose a bass for him to buy on impulse, and that never ends well.

Sorry if the poll is offensive to some. Just a harmless question because I am torn between the two. I wouldn't let this poll be the final deciding factor just wanted to throw it out there because it was on my mind. If you don't wanna answer you don't have to but if you do just for fun that is ok too.

If it were me, I would take the Cirrus just for the 35" scale as I think it works better for a low B (no to trying to start an argumment). I also think the electronics are superior.

That is me...have you tried them both? What do you liek better...that is the real question.

Both the Cirrus & the Grind are 35" scale.

I own both a Cirrus BXP (Indonesian model) and a Grind BXP, as well as several Fender PJ's. I've been a Fender player for decades, but when it came time to choose a 5'er, I went straight to Peavey. Fender 5's just seem...out of place. I know, many will swear by 'em, but they just don't seem right to me (probably because I've been playing their 4-bangers for so long).

Anyway, between the Peaveys, I find the Cirrus to have better tone (and varieties of tones, with the active electronics) but the Grind is more comfortable to play. JMO...

Great! Thanks for the feedback guys. I have always played Fenders and recently have been reading good stuff about the cirrus bxp. Making the change can be scary as I don't live in an area where I can try a bunch of stuff out. I'm leaning toward the bxp but would still like to hear from anyone who has tried one. I'll mostly be using it for country. I have an SWR 750x head with an Avatar 210 cab
