I have an Avatar 8 ohm 2x10 cabinet that I did the original peerless tweeter mod to some time back. I've been searching old threads for a couple of hours and I cannot seem to find a diagram that I can read (it needs to be quite simple). My problem is that I found 2 unattached wires in the cab. while troubleshooting a rattle (fixed). What I have is one lead from the tweeter wired to the middle terminal of the pot, the other not connected to anything.
I have one speaker wired to tip and ground of one input jack which in turn is connected tip to tip and ground to ground to the other input jack and the other speaker is only connected to the ground of the second input jack, the other wire is unconnected.
The cap is wired to the pot and the ground of the first input jack, while the pot.s 3rd terminal is wired to the tip of the first input jack.
My guess is that the 2nd speaker should also connect to the tip of the 1st or second input jack and that the tweeter should also be connected to the tip. Is this correct?
