Double Bass Need Help with Playing The Bass Line in a Song

I am learning to develop my ears and would really appreciate some help with a song I'm struggling with. What key is this song in and what scale is being used? I guess part of the problem is that I am having a hard time recognizing the intervals and also focusing exclusively on the the bass line. Thanks for your help.

Here is the song:

This is the bassic harmonic vamp that starts at 0:08 - 0:31 ( note - there are 3 "cycles" or phrases - the first 2 are the identical, #3 is slightly different, as it stays on Fmin7 for 8 beats):
It is in Fmin, but starts on the IV chord (Bbmin7), then moves to the V chord (Cmin7), before arriving "home" on the Fmin7 chord.

1. Bbmin7 for 4 beats
Cmin7 for 4 beats
Fmin7 for 2 beats, Eb/G for 2 beats, Fmin/Ab for 2 beats, Fmin/C for 2 beats.

2. Bbmin7 for 4 beats
Cmin7 for 4 beats
Fmin7 for 2 beats, Eb/G for 2 beats, Fmin/Ab for 2 beats, Fmin/C for 2 beats.

3. Bbmin7 for 4 beats
Cmin7 for 4 beats
Fmin7 for 8 beats.

Try to hear which version of the second 8 beats is played: the Electric Piano seems to determine if the bass line needs to walk "up" - F, G, Ab, C, - OR if it stays on Fmin for the 8 beats.
Play along with the track, as well as listening to AND singing the bass notes away from your instrument.
Sorry gotta go. I hope this gets you started.
Thanks.
