Go to a scrapyard and get an old hood emblem. Alternately, cut an old license plate into the shape of the headstock, or use it as a truss rod cover.

That bass looks so wrong that its just rightMy $0.02. Paint the headstock in a colour that does NOT match the body and invent your own logo.
I did this recently when I assembled my 25.5" mini bass, dubbed the Funkier Turkeybasster.
Match it to the body then give it a name (on a sticker). It's an SX p-bass that a friend of mine de-fretted and stripped down. In the process the SX logo was removed. I am fine with that, but I don't like it now being just plain. Any ideas on what to add or do with it? I don't want fender stickers.
Get some headstock ideas from a tatoo parlor.

Hehehe - yeah, you want people to do a double take, put the old original "Lionel" logo on the bass! That would look cool!If you want to use simple block lettering go to a model train hobby shop. They have decal making supplies.
