Need info on Inter-Mark bass

Just bought one of these today at a pawn shop for $65. Glad i found this thread, because i had no idea what it was. I just thought it looked cool. Curious to hear what it sounds like through my rig.
How does that bass sound shwabilly?
I am super curious how those microphonic pickups sound with a bass and if you've opened it up, are they just the Inter-Mark/Cipher guitar pickups reused on their bass model???
My wife and I have a few Inter-Mark guitars that we have as projects, and I am turning an Inter-Mark Ranger into a bass - very curious how those pickups sound or if I should look to replace them. Pictures of our gitards attached.
Also, drowninginguitars has some useful info/playing videos of some of these guitars (but none of bass). I can't post a link yet with a new account but it is easy enough to find with google and on his excellent blog.
My wife's two project guitars, need some tlc.
I also found some old advertisements for these guitars from some ebay auction. "AMAZING...YET TRUE! So Much For So Little..." haha
This is the Cipher Ranger I intend to turn into a bass and why I'm looking for info here. Cheers!
