I have a 1998 Squier Precision ProTone made in Korea. What type of wood is the body made of?

I think these were made from Agathis or Plywood.

Hey there. The body is certainly not plywood. I think mine is an ash body with transparent red finish. This is truly one of the most underrated basses of all-time, imho. If you ever get the chance to try one, you might be pleasantly surprised! I currently have Barts in mine.
