I have a GK700RB going into a Markbass 2x10 and a GK 15 (older model, no actual model written on it, I know its not a backline though)

For some reason it's just not giving me the Low end that I need. Normally I'm playing at venues with Larger Sound Systems and never even seem to notice. Lately though, I've been working some venues where I'm the only source of the LOW end and it's just not cutting it.

Any Ideas?

FYI I'm playing with a Progressive Fusion band, sortof a cross genre of 70's Fusion and Techno.

Get more capable, and matching cabs.

Additionally check if your current cabs are wired in phase with each other.

Do you like the sound of your rig with just the Markbass 210? If so add a second matching 210 to it. I would not recommend you mix speakers of different make/model.

Well, I've done the test with the Markbass 210 and 115. They sound really nice together, get me the warmer tone I'm looking for and the Low End as well, just at the moment I can't afford it. I was just wondering if there was anything I was doing wrong that would be inhibiting me from getting a fatter tone.

First try one cab at a time. If the low end is not notably better when both cabs are used over just one cab you have a polarity problem with one cab. You will have to power the amp down while switching cabs if you are using 1/4" cables.

Yes also a possibility this pairing of different sized speakers just doesn't work. BTW I didn't like the MarkBass 115 much at all, the 410 was a passable cab to MY ears. YMMV
