Need narrow neck help!!

I tried a Geddy Lee Jazz Bass a few days ago...
It is seriously narrow at the nut...
But, still feels huge at the body.
I think it's 2 1/2" at the heel block.

I've just been informed that there was another bass with the same neck called the Katana....
Looks like there were both Fender and Squier models.

Of course there are Vox, EKO, Kay and other Italian and Japanese basses from the 60's and 70's. I miss my old EKO SG style bass. Narrow bound and blocked neck. dual humbuckers. That thing fed back like hell until I potted it with candle wax. What ever happened to that bass? hmmm.
