That Behringer DI out is one of the noisiest on the planet . . .![]()
he mentioned that he needs the DI for live performance purposes, which i would venture to say are less demanding, noise-wise, than in a recording environment.
in any case, i bought mine to use with the pgh. Penguins house band (very small stage!). I used it all last season and never had any complaints from the house sound guys. fwiw.
$200 ain't gonna git ya much in the "high-end quality preamp/DI" department...
