Need precision bass info......

Hi,
I've been a pro guitarist for many years.....
Looking for a precision under $750 either new or used....
I'm wondering if you guys could give me some input as to what might give me the best bang for my buck?

If you're able to go just a bit higher than $750., You can find some fine used Am. Std. Precisions. Find one of those, and you're set. If you go to low in price, you may get a bass that you may put more money into, to up grade to better pups etc. Am. Std. Precisions are some of the best as they come out of the factory. Setups are however you like it to be, maybe not the way it is in the store, or with the current owner. In a used bass, I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything you can't hold in your hand to look at, and inspect it.

Do yourself a favor and get a PJ.
With a 15% off Guitar Center coupon you can get this for $750 new.
I saw a used one yesterday for $699.
There's an active version too and they sell used for under $700.
P bass with Jazz bass neck and J pickup.

You won't find a better-sounding bass.

Don't just take my word on it.
Fender deluxe PJ smokes MIA imo
