Need Replacement for Aging BP355

I love my Digitech BP355 effects pedal. It does exactly what I need. However, it’s starting to display signs of its age. Before it totally takes a poopie, I want to upgrade to a newer unit with comparable qualities. Those of you with BP355 experience, can you suggest newer units that will help me continue my satisfaction with my effects pedal use? I’ve been investigating, and bass multi-effects pedals seem to be a rarity now. I’m not paying $1500 for a Line 6, nor am I considering the Chinese wannabes (unless a good argument can be made). The best I see out there right now is the Boss GT-10B. Is that where I should go? Thanks.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t have an expression pedal. Also, I have a Zoom 708II that I used to love. I thought it had a very organic “analog” sound to it- until I realized it was just noisy. Not sure now if I can trust Zoom products. Maybe I’ll check out the website and see what they’ve got going on these days. Thanks for your input!

My BP355 is still going strong after 10 years but I’m having to consider an alternative as well if it goes south. I’ve never gigged with it (do you?) I use it for home practice only. Headphones, bass, iPad, BP355. I’m thinking the HX Stomp. On sale for $550, ouch! But I could see practice and gigging with it, and I could offset the high price tag by selling off a couple of pedals that would become obsolete with the Stomp on my board. I need someone to gas me up to push me over the edge.

Yeah, I use it for practice, rehearsal and live. Never had any problems, but now the Edit “up and down” buttons are glitchy, and the power supply connection is a little loose. Probably things I can go in and fix, but, you know, once it starts sliding downhill…

I have always had a hard time justifying Line 6’s pricing. I bought one once long ago, and it just didn’t seem that spectacular- for double the price of anything else comparable. If I added an expression pedal, the whole thing would cost me $700! Again, their pedal is twice the price of the competition. Until I become a full-on professional, I think at this point I’m looking at the more moderately-priced Zoom B3N, MAYBE the B6 if I can swing it. Good luck with yours, and thanks for your thoughts.
