Need some amp advice

I have the Fender combo Rumble 500 with 2x 10" and a tweeter. Some don't like the tone shaping properties but I do, especially the "vintage" and the "overdrive" settings. I stack the 500 on a Fender Rumble 115 cab with 1x 15" and its plenty loud. You can buy the 500 and add the 115 later if you want, or when/if you have the $$. Fender is not boutique equipment but it is what it is....

 

[getting old]

Im wondering if i should go with a 12 or 15" speaker. Im new to combos so the fact that i only have one speaker is new to me and unsure of what size sounds best with these combos.

played with 2 10 combo, 15 combo and 10 combo all in the 100 to 300 watt range. have moved to the Mark bass 12 in combo. try one. you will find the money to buy one. playing a bigger gig just add an 8 ohm cab.

Looking at a few combos and hoping to find someone that knows a little about these before i make a decision, knowing its not possible for me to try any of these out before i buy. Of course if i buy and dont like it, they take returns so not the end of the world.

What i want is something loud enough for band practice, maybe small venues, and of course a really strong practice amp for home.

Ampeg ba-115v2 (150w)
Fender rumble 200 (200w)

All in the $400-550 range, with the orange being the most expensive even though it has the least watts. Seems like i cant really go that wrong with any of them considering they all have very positive reviews, but just curious of one is known to be the best choice.

check ou a Mark Bass combo with a single 12. I gig muliple times a week and this meets all my needs. lite weight. small. multiple sounds. ext cab out, di out and both low and high inputs.
