Need some help identifying a mystery bass!

Hello Talkbass!

I picked up this bass over the easter weekend, but I'm fairly certain it's been repainted and neither I nor the store could tell me what the brand and model is!

It's about 9lbs, and the electronics are 2 volume with 2 humbucker pickups. The pickups are WIDE, almost as wide as 5 string Bartolini's.

Anyone have a clue? I'm thinking it's Aliexpress, but i'm not certain!

Sure looks a lot like a Gibson RD Artist bass but the headstock is different. Maybe someone modified a Gibson? Or built a bass in tribute?

Pretty cool looking bass. Not sure what it is, but maybe the lightning bolt 12-fret inlay and TRC could be tells?

I know Eastwood did an RD Artist "tribute" bass a few years back - Maybe this is a (heavily) modified version of those?

Not sure, they would've had to change the headstock but more importantly the inlays.

It has a tone position of 22! All of my basses only have tone positions of 21.
