Need some help with audition

Guys:

Need some help here. I am auditioning for a band next week - bills itself as “blues R&B/Motown”. Here is the song list for the audition. Some I know, some no. Can anyone point me to the artist, and maybe a link to the song:

Unchain My Heart - they said live version. I assume they mean Joe Cocker. I’m cool on this.
Sweet Home Chicago - everybody does this. No problem here either.
Proud Mary - I assume they mean Tina Turner’s version rather than CCR - no problem here.
If You Love Me Like You Say - I am guessing Albert Collins??
Maybe Someday Baby - Delbert McClinton I am guessing
If You Need Me - Wilson Pickett
Everything is Broken - Kenny Way Shepherd??

The version of "Everything is Broken" that I know is by Bob Dylan. However, why not just call or e-mail the band and ask what version of the songs they do? There's no shame in asking.

I did, and still waiting for a response. I'd rather get a head start on nailing down these tunes, since I have been looking for this kind of a band for a while.

You can probably find them all on Youtube. There are so many different versions of songs, it's hard to know which ones they want you to learn.

Learning any version is good. If you find they're doing a different version it's generally similar and fairly easy to adapt.

But I totally get that you want to cross all your t's and dot all your i's and be prepared. I'm the same way.

As Jim Nazium pointed out, def ask your band contact what versions and what key so you are all on same page.
