if i were to get this, all i'd need to do is install pickups and a new neck right? all the other electronics are still there?

Uh.... No. There aren't any elctronics there. You'd need a pickup, wires, a single pot(if you are going with the stock configuration) and an output jack. Not to mention a bridge, and strings of course. Have you found a place that sells the one piece pickguard for this model? If not you will need a control plate as well. Did I miss anything?

No worries man. Better to ask here, rather than find out the hard way. Though it wouldn't cost much more to buy the rest of the parts.
