Hi all and sorry if this thread looks like another "which amp to buy" thread. I sincerely read pages upon pages of material here in tb but still, i need someone to take a look at what i found and comment. I am in a weird situation, cause i want to get an amp (combo or head/cab) in Greece, but most of the local stores only bring 1 or 2 brands, which makes it difficult to locate and try lots of them. Also prices are bad, which is why i am looking at a specific online retailer that gives a longer warranty and free shipping on top of its better prices.. So, here is a short list of things i found locally:
combos:
All behringer combos, from 180 watts (buggera) to 450w, all of them cheap. I know what most of you think for behringer, which is why i still have to buy one.. These come at a really great price. If you feel there is a good one out of the behringer line, feel free to let me know.
Ampeg 112,115 and 115hpu which goes for more but seems more "pro" and louder.
Fender rumble 100/150 which from a demo, sounded great but it is as expensive as the ampeg 115hpu and its half its power.
Gallien Krueger backline 112 & 115. Cheap, but i am not sure lots of you love them
All the other combos i found, are too expensive to consider, moving well into the head/cab region.
heads/cabs:
Behringer ba4500h head, ba115 or ba210 cabs, can get a set for around 439 which is a killer price for such a set but i am sceptical about this brand. I was offered the same set but with a cheaper head as well, the 1800 one.
These are the best i could find locally. What i really want, is an amp that will suit me well for practise/rehearsals with a band and probably small club gigs. What i certainly do not want is buying a new set in a couple of years because of the head/cab blowing up. I would spend something between 300-600 euros max.
Because what i can find locally is limited, i also wanted you to take a look (well, if you have the time, patience and good will and not bored
) at 3-4 links to that webshop i was talking about to help a brother up.. These are links to combos, heads and cabs. If you have the time to check them out, i would love some feedback. I could post all combos and configs here too, it would just become a long list and trained eyes that know these amps/cabs will probably spot a good deal right away..
One other reason i am not so sure of buying before you see these is because i am not entirely sure of a correct head/cab combination, although i read the faq in depth. I still am a little afraid i might pick out a "not so good" configuration
bear with me, thanks for even reading this, even more glad if you take the time to look through these links. Which of these combos or heads/cabs would you choose in the price range of 300-600 euros and why? (as in X is better than Y for this reason). Of course all of this is subjective and i still have to play though all of your suggestions, but at least this will give me a head start and maybe a warning for bad combinations or bad gear.

sorry for the long post, sorry for maybe wasting your time on this, but maybe you can have a look over your coffee and tell me what you would pick?
Oh, before the elusive "check the used market" answer comes up, there is no such thing here.. I might be able to get stuff through ebay uk or the german one but shipping costs will probably be overkill. I will search for all suggestions there as well of course!!
thanks in advance.
