Need to apologize, as required

I was going to post something sarcastic, but I went and read your OP and thought you asked an honest, simple, straight forward question without any unethical overtones. If some people jump to conclusions about you....well, you can't help that. We are all supposed to be adults here, even if we act like little kids sometimes...make that all the time. It takes stones to make a public apology (even if any mistake you made was unintentional), and I applaud you for it!

Thank you VERY much Becker! Those comments mean a lot to me, especially in this "debacle" if you want to call it that. lol

OK thanks for that dude. It sounded from a few posts here and there that you thought my post was a bit lame though. Apparently you don't think it was lame enough for me to apologize? lol

I honestly didn't think it was lame at all.

And I didn't think it was racist.

My comment was based off of the history here at tb. I could have asked the same exact question and gotten an overall totally different respond.

I'm with Jauqo and becker, I don't believe you have anything to apologize for at all. The question seemed direct enough that I thought that nobody would take it for anything else but I guess I thought wrong, lol. I defended you and th thread to the best of my ability but I suppose that with all the flak it was getting it had to go down eventually. Either way it takes a big man to admit he's wrong, but it takes an even bigger man to take the fall for something that was not his fault. You sir, are that bigger man.

2:41 Vacaville time, and OP, hand over the man card; man law clearly states *man does not apologize*. I can't recall the exact law, but I vividly remember reading it. I'll try and find the actual law later.
BTW, why is this in bassists?

Edit: Adding the obligatory *not-genuinely-trying-to-rile-anyone-here smilie :)

I didn't get offended or think it was anything else than a simple question, but I salute you for being man enough to make the people who took it otherwise feel better.

So 0:55 AM greetings from the future to you who are still dwelling in thursday. No flying cars yet, so don't hold your breath.

I don't see anything wrong with the original post. I think racial pride is fine, but for the life of me, I can't tell the difference between races just by listening to someone play bass. I don't want to sound "holier-than-thou" but it's just not something I've ever paid attention to.
