Need to buy a Mini

I'm selling my Ampeg SVT-CL next week and buying an Orange Terror bass 1000 head. I've heard really good things about those heads so I'm going to pull the trigger on one. 11lbs, 1000 watts, 2, 12AX7 tubes in the preamp and a class D power section.Same preamp section as their AD200B. All the demo videos I've seen show this to be a great amp.

Right now I'm using a Sansamp RBI with a Stewart World 1.2 power amp in a rack that weighs about 35lbs and I'm using a Markbass NY604 (600 watts, 33lbs) cab and a Dr. Bass 112LF cab (500 watts, 41lbs). Those 2 cabs really fill a room up with sound. I'm not getting any younger and I'm starting to get some back issues so I'm on a quest to find the lightest, most powerful stuff I can get.

Just looked at the Ampeg site for the PF series...nice touch having the head mount to the cab top and flip it over like that!

Am I reading correctly that the Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 12T combo weighs 31 lbs, and the Shuttle 3.0 8T weighs 13 lbs? That's sick.

I use a GK Neo setup in a rock band. I have the 1001, 2x12" and 1x12". Whilst I love my setup, if I was buying again today I'd probably have the Fusion and 2 of the 1x12"s.

Now have the head.....a Shuttle 6.0.....now need a little lightweight cab. I will be using it with a light single 15 I have, so I am thinking a 12 or a 2x10....maybe an Ampeg Portabass cab?

NOOOOOO! even the chief engineer of ampeg back then hates the portabass cabs!

Add the other 8" and you have a whopping 25 Lb mini stack, its crazy light. Great "sound per pound" set up.

I'll keep my eyes open for the GB 10 or maybe even a GK 112 Neo.

The Shuttle 3.0-10T with the 1x10 Extension cab is a super mini stack.
