Needed: user friendly good sounding drum patterns

Any advice appreciated....Looking to not spend too much (29.95 type budget?) on a downloadable series of drum patterns.

DONT need to tweek the patterns except for tempo
DO want a lot of good sounding kits
DO want them grouped by genre (unlike my Zoom MRT-3b)

Nothing I know of at that price. EZDrummer (www.toontrack.com) usually retails for around $80, has lots and lots of patterns in various genres (with add-on packs for $39-ish), many good kits, is easy to use (drag and drop into your DAW). My only beef is that many styles do not include ending riffs, a serious shortcoming in my opinion. Groove Monkee also makes add-ons compatible with EZDrummer.

I love Toontrack products, but tend to use Superior Drummer 2.0 almost exclusively. That won't do you any good unless you can shell out a lot more cash and either have the ability to write your own parts in MIDI, or have an electronic kit to play through the software. If the EZDrummer stuff from Toontrack is as good as their Superior Drummer 2.0 platform I'd say it would be a great avenue for getting real/normal sounding drums.

I would have to agree, Toontracks EZ drummer is a great starting point,easy to use and great tones.
I use it with a Korg Nano-pad, ($50) when i need to tap my own lead -ins and stops.
