Allow me to introduce two of my long time favorite records from Neil Larsen "Jungle Fever" with Willie Weeks on bass and "High Gear" with Abraham Laboriel Sr. on bass and Steve Gadd on drums. Stellar tunes and top notch players with too many high points to try to mention them all. I have several worn Lp copies of each some purchased as cut outs [remember those]. I popped 50 bucks each for Japanese CD issues before they were briefly released here. IYKYK but if you don't do yourself a favor and give both of these a listen.



Classic P Bass tones and Willie can thump with the best.

Two of my absolute favorite albums from the 70's, especially jungle fever, Willie Weeks and Andy Newmark were on of my favorite rhythm sections. Feiten is one of the most overlooked guitarist working for the last almost 60 years.
