They should be available in April, I've already pre ordered a Inverness Green through the House of Guitars.
Inverness Green would be my choice too. Mind letting us know what the street price is?
I didn't see a price for it in any of the articles, but I'm guessing >$2K. The blue flame 339 guitar is just under $3K.

I'm told MAP is $1800 but don't hold me to it.

Anyone notice the logo placement? Really Gibson? I'm really hoping that's not where they're putting it.
That bass in Inverness Green really looks great. The NR Thunderbird is such a beautiful bass.
anyone know what "sparkling Burgundy" looks like ? I'm guessing some sort of red maybe......or ?
They’re using that color a lot now. Check the jack casidy bass and you’ll see what it looks like. Basically deep metallic red.
What would you prefer?

If they're going to put in the effort to put chrome hardware on a modern Non-Reverse Thunderbird then why not put the logo on the truss rod cover like it always has been? It looks really odd to see it stamped on the headstock.
I mean, they even put Clover tuners on the headstock so clearly they were aiming for a somewhat vintage accurate bass. I don't think they've ever done that for a 21st century thunderbird.
I... find it revolting.
That being said, I would not hesitate to rock the crap out of that thing with a pick and slung low in a 80s hair metal band. Would. Not. Hesitate.

I love these and I think I will have to have one.
Kudos to Gibson for going with the nickel hardware, I wish they had gone a step further and added the two piece bridge/tailpiece though.

I would thought the same thing until I picked up a ‘92 Les Paul bass because it was cheap and local. After I set it up to my liking it’s rock solid. It is really a nicer player and sounds great. I was surprised by the quality.
