My main amp of late is the TCE RH750. Just bought a Mesa Prodigy, and a vintage MusicMan HD130 (not "here" yet). No plans to use anything more powerful than these. So, heavy duty 1/4" Switchcraft jacks and 3 feet of 12 gauge wire should suffice.

Yep, the 24 gauge worth of contact area using 1/4" should be more than sufficient.
I have a friend who does this, too. He's got 1/4" jacks on cabs he bridges biggish amps into. I cringe. It's not about "heavy duty", it's about contact area. All my stuff is speakon.
That's a handsome looking cab! I've got a few questions that I hope you don't mind answering.
- No stuffing/batting inside?
- Any concerns about that telescoping handle rattling?
- What was the final weight?
I believe that's the same telescoping handle Carvin used on the BRX212 combo. If so, it doesn't rattle.
Hey Scott, seeing as how there are a few folks who don't approve of the lack of a Speakon connector maybe you should throw your project in the dumpster and start over. Lol. Having met you in person, I have a feeling none of that will bother you. You seem to enjoy going your own way. To achieve the highest level of forum approval it's a well known fact that every detail of anything you post must conform to the will of the most critical part of the TB collective. You can always add a Speakon or two later. Or...maybe your new cab will work out just as intended.

- "No stuffing/batting inside?" None yet. I'll play with it for a while to learn its sound, then add if necessary. I like the immediacy without that bit, so far.
3. "What was the final weight?" I'm only guessing at 50-ish lbs as I haven't had a chance to weigh it.
The next cab won't be as deep, and will be a bit wider (to keep the same Vb)... I have another type of port I want to try. And, there won't be any wheels, or similar handles (possibly just one strap handle). I'll likely tune the ports a touch higher as well.
Great fun when your band mates see what you've done, and stare at it all night long!!! Haha!

What's the "best" way to post sound bites?
I have a multitude of ways to record this cab, from Zoom H2 to full-on studio gear ("blue-blood" mics, pre-amps, etc)...
