New Acoustic amps, cabinets and combos

Did anyone, actually tried any of them? I see, they are available in the stores nationwide...

There are:
2 new heads B300H and B800H (800W/4)
3 new cabs: B115 MKII; B410 MKII and B810 MKII
5 new combos: B15; B30; B100 MKII; B200 MKII and B450 MKII

plus new mini-stack: 260MKII

Played through the 300H and the new 410, sound the same as the old ones.

Interested in trying them. I REALLY liked the heads for a basic clean tone. Perhaps these OD nicely?

Keep your eye on the prices if you want one. As a 'store brand' for the Guitar Center/MF/related empire they sometimes get stupid big sale prices.

This head may be much more power for 2 8ohm cabinets. The 600 watt head was 600-2ohms, or maybe 400-450 watts at 4ohms. The 600 was on sale for $250 at GC. A Ashdown MAG 600 now costs $600 ( same as the Acoustic 800) and might sound better.

Played some yesterday. I like the od and its easy to use...and no pedals to fritz with.

I played a 800 and I was seriously impressed.

The cabs have never done much for me but if I was in a pinch (financially), I'd have no issue playing the new Acoustic stuff.

Did a multi-band gig some time ago and GC supplied the Acoustic B600 head/ 810 cabinet NIB. Amp did not work! Luckily another band had the foresight to bring their bass rig anyway.

The 260MkII Mini stack is alright. Nothing special but it got prety loud and the tone was pleasing to my ears.

It's got iron transformers and ceramic speakers. Won't be feather light.

What??? Am I tha only sucker?

I'm a crazy old fart that has been missing the sound of
playing through a 15" cab, especially with a 12". That's
what I used to have when I gigged a lot.

They had a clearance sale on a B15 MKII at GC. I took
a used bass and guitar in to swap and got out the door
for $104.

It is chore to move. I put casters on and it weighs 80 lbs.
It just barley fit in the front seat of my Nissan Sentra.

It sounds real good. I drive it with a Rumble 350 head. It
puts out 175 watts @ 8 ohm. I play it with a 1X12 M-80
8 ohm cab, totaling 350 watts.

The tweeter has a low grade hiss. It has not bothered
me and I have never tried it with the tweeter turned off.

Sense I don't have to move it around, I love it. It has a
real good 15 sound. Awesome practice rig,
