New American Standard Jazz Bass question

I was asked the following question regarding a new American Standard Jazz Bass by someone who commented on one of my videos that I uploaded to You Tube back about 3 yrs ago when I first got my '08 MIA Jazz V. The question is:

I just bought a Musicman Stingray HH and I'm thinking about getting one of these too, do you think they're worth getting considering I have a Musicman?

So TB, what's your take? It's been a couple of yrs. since I played a Stingray HH at GC, and I really don't remember much about it except that I thought it was pretty nice.

The Jazz will sound different. It's not any different than if someone has a Warwick or P Bass. If any of those folks want a jazz bass tone they'll need to get a jazz bass.

honestly, I am not a huge fan of music mans. They have a high end "clank" to them that is miserable. The new fender american jazz basses are great
