New Amp: Bose PackLite Model A1

Was looking for a back up amp for my TC RH450 and Bongomania had mentioned this in a thread so I bought one off of Ebay. I bought it thinking it would be a backup but now the RH 450 is the backup.

Sounds great! Perfect for the small gigs and venues I play in.

So this is now my main rig. The BATT into the Art pre into the Bose. A mutt collection of components that gives me a fat, clear and rich sound !

How does the loudness compare to the 450?

You have a BATT! So do I, though it doesn't get used.

The RH450 with 2xRS112 cabs sounded beautiful last night with the rock band. Guitar, drums, bass, vocalist, trumpet, sax. I played the Stingray-4 which has lots of tone latitude.

How does the loudness compare to the 450?

As you probably already know, the 450, while actually 236 watts, really does sound like a lot more. The same is true here.

The Bose sounds like a great 250 watt amp. The 450 has more.

However, I am going to use the Bose as the amp stage is a bit cleaner.
