New baby in the house!

Just brought home this 2007 MIM Deluxe Series J-Bass that I picked up in a small, local shop for $345. It's in mint condition - not a mark anywhere - and it plays perfectly! This guitar is waaaay better than the MIM P-Bass I had a while back (a 1998 model). Came with a Fender custom molded hardshell case. The pickups are Fender Vintage Noiseless units and...no hum! I put the ghs nylon covered strings on it tonight. Fred Shuman (who own's Durdel's Music in Toledo) set the intonation. I never had a guitar that was so much fun to play! I love this thing!

Unless the pickups were improperly installed, I see no reason why you'd have problems with the upgraded pickups.

Looks like single-coils are standard, so the Noiseless should be quieter in regards to 6-cycle hum. Of course, some people prefer single-coils, so it's subjective.

I'm gassing for a MIM Jazz bass bad...hate having to be patient, why can't I just have as much money as I need to pursue my various interests??

BTW - no pics = no bass!!
