So... I know you guys are all badass cuz you make all your own stuff, but i live in an apartment, and im limited to essentially a pickup winder worth of equipment.
So i regulairly shop the bay for bodies and necks. and i find this pbass body, and its only 59.95 new, and i was sure it was a mistake, but regardless. it was a maple mighty mite p bass body, and the only hoook was.... its red.
So i took the valenti approach, black pickguard and black hardware, but a maple dotted jazz neck (small hands) and i think its gonna turn out good. so far just got my pickup parts, and the neck body and plate. only catch is that the scratchplate doesnt cover the input area of the cavity. i know its a cheap PG and not a mighty mite. do you think a mighty mite will solve this?
And i must say, the neck/body joint is amazing. 100% better than my MIM. its so tight it almost stays in on its own!
