New Bass Day - Gibson Ripper II

To be honest, I don't play it much, but then again, I'm not playing in a band at the moment, so ….
As I've noted, it is, IMHO very different from the originals in terms of playability, construction, electronics, etc. I like both my '75 and the Ripper II, but for different reasons. I like the '75 because it was, at the time, very different from anything offered by Fender, Rickenbacker, etc. And I like the Ripper II simply because to me, it is a big improvement, in modern terms, over the original (I like the neck on the II much more than I do the one on the original, for example).

As I've said elsewhere, if Gibson could find a way to bring down the cost on something like this, I think they'd have something.
