Actually arrived Monday from Bass Club Chicago, but with the holiday I've finally had a chance to set it up the way I like it and play with it. Kudos to @Bass Club Mark for helping me out and answering all of my questions over the last few weeks.
I was hesitant about buying without being able to try it out, especially at that price, but concerns were definitely unfounded. TBers had nothing but good things to say and when I saw this guitar, spec'd out exactly the way I would have custom ordered it, it didn't take long to decide to take the plunge. It's way nicer (and lighter) than any of the 5 string American Elites I tried. @Nino Valenti, you make a great bass! Can't wait to try it out this weekend with a band.
Now, if I could finally decide on an amp.... I'm leaning Tone Hammer 500 after driving up to my local Sam Ash to check one out in person. It sounded REALLY good hooked up to 2x Hartke HyDrive HD 112s, but I'm thinking i may end up with 2x HyDrive HD 210s instead. Using 2x210s to create a 4 ohm 410 would likely work out great in my band.
