Be warned : a Darkglass 212 cab creates a real addiction ! For pretty much all styles of music at that.

If it is still enroute and not at your house pictures don't matter. It happens a lot here. Sweetwater white brick background does not count

I just got an ag700 last week too. I'm totally floored by this amp! It's a keeper for sure.

Here are my thoughts so far.

The cab is great, the B string comes across clear and I look forward to practicing more.

The head sounds great. It is light weight and intuitive to use as far as tone shaping. My only minor pet peeve with the head is that the mute switch is activated with a light off so it seems counter intuitive again minor issue once you use it once.

I bought the Aguilar bag I was hoping it had two openings like the Markbass or Genzler/Genz Benz bags. I think I am going to get a 3 unit soft rack bag and put it in there instead. I have Christmas Jazz gig this weekend, I'll see how it does with an upright with a Fishman pre amp.

All in all very happy with my purchase. I really like the rubber feet on the side for different set ups without messing up the tolex.

Love the AG tone stack. I have the 500 watt version but it checks all the boxes for me. My only gripe is the fan noise which is not an issue in a club/stage but at home it bugs me. Is the 700 noisy in that regard too?

I have an AG700 V1 and, yes, the fans are noisy. Otherwise, a brute of an amp!
